Jeff, We have never met, but I feel that I know you. I have the video of the trip to Sturgis that you took with Peter, and have enjoyed that ride with you many times. My home in in upstate New York, but I am working in China for a year. Trying to earn enough money to finish the ongoing project of restoring my 1947 Chief. I agree with your philosophy that these vintage bikes should be ridden. I have been following your progress through the internet, and my prayers are with you all the way. Hope that the improvement continues and some day we can meet at Sturgis. Thanks for sharing the ride with you and your friends.

Just a few words to let you know that we think about you often, checking the web sight regularly. I was floored to read Debi's recent comments in the guest book!!?? So Jeff I wondering and hoping that there's a light at the end of the tunnel for you and that you are closer to getting a lot better! I really enjoyed the ride and fund raiser that was held for you back in June of 98. We recently moved back to CA after 25 years up in Seattle. We miss Seattle and our consulation is that we are back with all of our faimlys. I have the tape of your ride to Sturgis that was aired on PBS, have to put on every once in awhile, its a great tape! gets me in the mood to want to head out to Sturgis on the same route you guys took. Speaking of tape's I was one of the 10? people that order a tape of the benifit ride and never got it, I just hope that some of that money made its way to you! Well Jeff I know you know that there are a lot of us out here who are wishing you the best and are taking a look at the web page every now and then and thinking about you and your family!

To those who have taken advantage of Jeff during this time of crisis...SOMEDAY YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER FOR YOUR DISPICABLE ACTIONS..WHAT ANSWER JUSTIFIES STEALING FROM AND HURTING SOMEONE WHEN THEY ARE DOWN?..IT'S YOURSELF THAT YOU MUST ALWAYS LIVE WITH. IS YOUR SOUL SO BLACK THAT YOU CAN LIVE WITH YOURSELF? THINK ABOUT IT.

Hey Jeff, Glad to see MM got the guestbook going again. Bryan and I pop it open about every other day to see if there is any new news. The good/bad news here is the kid has the Indian bug. He wants me to finish putting together my second 47 for him to ride. Heck, I don't know what got into his head. Three months ago he thought it was too ugly, too big and heavy for him to ride. Then I got him to sit on it again and lean the sucker over. He then found out that it was shorter and lighter than he remembered. (I think he forgot that he has been growing for the last few years. Nothing like a 15 year old, a pop can't tell them shot - you got to prove it to them. If I remember right it must run in the family or is that every family :-)? So it looks like I might have many nights and extra hours planned for me this winter. I just wish I had all the parts that I robbed off of it to make mine go.... More bad news is that it already snowed here. Anyway don't be surprised if I hit you up for some tech advice. Hey you wouldn't know anybody that would want to buy some early Super X parts or Harley parts. I met a guy up here that has what he thinks is a 11-13 Super X single motor with mag and carb on it, a set of forks with the spring, spindle, and front fender. He also has a 11-13 single Harley frame, gas tanks, luggage rack, rear fender and seat parts. It blew my mind when he showed it to me.

SAW THIS AND WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH OUR FRIENDS:..."Friendship is different from all other relationships. Unlike acquaintanceship, it is based on love. Unlike lovers and married couples, it is free of jealousy. Unlike children and parents, it knows neither criticism nor resentment. Friendship has no status in law. Business partnerships are based on a contract. So is marriage. Parents are bound by the law, as are children. But friendship is freely entered into, freely given, freely exercised. Friends never cheat each other, or take advantage, or lie. Friends do not spy on one another, yet they have no secrets. Friends glory in each other's successes and are downcast by failures. Friends minister to each other, nurse each other, worry about each other, stand always ready to help. Perfect friendship is rarely achieved, but at its height it is an ecstasy"--Author-Stephen E. Ambrose. THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP..IT MEANS A LOT.

Jeff, never give up. Day by day the changes come and you move one day closer to riding again. I had my back smashed, both knees operated on, and both ankles ripped open. Nothing close to yours, but it just reminds me how good it is, each time I get back on the bike. Prayers, energy and patience from our bunch of riders to you, Jeff. Wish I could be there for the benefit, but you guys have a good one for us who cant be there.

Jeff-I don't know you but as a fellow rider I wish you the best in your recovery. I saw your television program "going Places" and really enjoyed it. Don't know if I'll make the party or not but will be thinking of you and wishing you the best. Get well and back in the shop and on the road. I look forward to meeting you when you get better. Hey Jeff, You dont know me well but I wanted to jump in here and say that I have always been impressed with your work and your efforts to keep america clean! Men like you are far to few these days, and I hope to hear soon that you are back where you belong. Keeping a very important part of our heritage alive! The thoughts I had when seeing some of your bikes have always stayed with me and have always reminded me that inside of everyone of us there is a spirit and a force that when applied with faith, in what we love, can create something special. Thank you!

Hi, Jeff; haven't met you, but I hope to get a chance when you are mobile once again, and it doesn't look like that will take long. This is a first-rate Website, you must have an impressive team working for you. I met Dave Barr at the Portland HOG rally last August, and I'm sure that you will use this setback to become an inspiration to us, just as he did. Best wishes, my friend.

Hey, Jeff! It's Landshark. This Internet access idea is quite an idea! Went to the Antique Motorcycle Club meet in Omaha yesterday. Had a blast! Took a few photos that I'll send to you when I get them processed. (Ran out of film!) I bagged a 1956 BMW R26. You'll see it in the photos. Hang in there, my friend. Never surrender! I'll try to scam my way to Seattle in May.
