John Lennon had originally planned to include the song Move Over Ms. L on his Walls and Bridges album, but decided at the last minute to leave it off. Below is an original "checker proof " sheet from the album artwork file showing the song "Move Over Ms. L" crossed off with the words "out". The proof is dated September 4, 1974 - Three weeks before the album was released. The song was to be placed between Surprise Surprise and What You Got. It was released six months later as the B side of the single Stand By Me (Apple 1881). |
