Bonhams Auctioneers and Tokyo Auction House presented the first international "All Beatles" auction at Tokyo Auction House March 22nd at 6:00 pm, with a simultaneous satellite link to London at 9:00am. There was also regional, cable and satellite feeds worldwide. This historic auction featured some of the rarest and most important Beatles items ever to be offered for sale and related material from each members' solo projects. The total amount from all items sold came to $1.1 million. The lavish, fully illustrated 100-page auction catalog presented a major chronological retrospective of the Beatles' career.
