This vacuum-formed plastic mold of a custom version of John and Yoko's Two Virgins album was made for and distributed to employees at a Capitol Records June 1969 sales meeting. The meeting was held at the Doral Country Club, a golf course in Miami. The copy shown here belonged to John Grimes, who worked at Capitol's distribution division from 1964-1971. Shown above left is the 3/4"-thick molded front cover, the cardboard back of the jacket, and the simulated picture disc LP with drawings of John and Yoko. The disc had no grooves.
